My Yamaha PSS-A50 won’t switch on (It’s a common problem)

This guy says he can fix it but can’t post his video until Autumn

This is how a neural net says to fix it (joke)

I got lucky and sandsoftwaresand.net started a series on the A50 just as I started looking into it!

He said that the PSS-A50 is a miniaturization of the (full size) F50

Fixing

The A50 must choose and switch between +5V USB power and battery power. That’s the role of the eFuse/power switch component.

I could buy a couple of each of these components, but:

You either have to buy in 30+ volumes or pay a £10 handling charge

They are surface-mount

They could just blow again??
