Alright let’s try this again... this time I’m going to try to sink $500 of my own money into getting other people to contribute...

If you are willing to submit for less (to help control costs and keep it in budget) to help contribute to this project, it’d be appreciated.

Short Fiction: $0.04-0.05/word (250-5000 words)

Best case scenario: I make $100 (net $-400) Worst case scenario: I make $10 (net $-490)

Columns: $20 (looking for people interested in being regular contributors)

Budget: $500

General Fiction Areas of Interest

Comics: - $100 - full page - $40 - strip/2x2

General Essay/Column Areas of Interest:

Photos: $15/pair (minimum of two related photos together w/ captions)

1 longer fiction piece = $250

2 shorter fiction pieces = $25

Lists: $5 (ranked or unranked list of anything!)

1.5 comics = $140

2 pieces of art = $100

Playlists: $5 (has to have some rationale besides just a list of songs, with an accompanying paragraph and album cover in both Apple Music and Spotify - we can assist with the album cover)

2 photo entries = $45

My own contributions of art/designs, column, list, playlist = $0

We will get back within 5 business days and if accepted, we will request a brief bio to be included with your submission and send payment via Paypal or Square Cash app.

Other Stuff: $TBD Willing to include just about any other type of material as well as long as it’s fun, interesting, or unique and fits the overall ~vibes~.

First Rights - Hasn’t appeared elsewhere previously - You retain the rights to publish elsewhere after 3 months - We retain the rights to keep in archives, print, and future collections

My rates are obviously lower (for the most part, although I try to be close... and am higher than a few in some places), but this is all out of pocket and an experiment that will lose me money...

If I somehow make back the money I put in, I’ll divvy out the profits among contributors to try to get closer to these rates.
