This will be the one game I think MIL can grab in the gentleman’s sweep. Combination of being on the road and being a little confident up 2-0 will be enough for the role players on PHX to slip a little and MIL’s to step up.

And MIL wins the jump.

Don’t be afraid to take them, but don’t go to it right away so early in the shot clock.

Missed a good portion of Q1.

Not the end of the world being down after Q1, but also doesn’t look great especially after they hopped out of the gates looking great.

For MIL to win, it can’t be a close game down the stretch.

HALFTIME THOUGHTS

Yeah, I thought he’d be slow tonight. Super wrong there.

And not just inside too, that last midrange was some beautiful touch.

A lot of what we expected, although both Ayton and CP3 are having a solid game so far.

Bucks get the lead back at 6:45, 39-38, for the first time in awhile after Tucker chases down a loose ball and finds Giannis cutting to the bucket.

Poor shooting from 3 for the Suns is killing them, and the Bucks are getting out in transition, putting pressure on the Suns consistently.

Missed the Bucks going up by 8 while I pulled what looked like a tick out of my dogs belly.

Jrue still shooting poorly, but he’s putting a lot of pressure on Booker on the other end.

Booker made the “right play” giving it up to Payne on the break, but that’s not Payne’s game and he blew it, letting the Bucks extend back to 8 on the way back.

Booker 1/6 is a big part of this. He was 1/8 in game one (I think) and they were able to overcome it. Not looking like the same can be said so far tonight.

Bucks end the half on a 10-0 run. A lot due to cold shooting from PHX, but Bucks also were getting out and running to force the pressure.

I was thinking before the game he could go for 40/20/10 but then thought better. He’s not too far off at 34/10/6 through 3.

Yeah I think the younger guys (minus DA) came in with the attitude I mentioned before the game. Feeling over confident up 2-0 and then being on the road is a bad formula for young and/or role players.

Knocks down 1/2; currently at 13/17 front he line.

Crowder is 5/6 from three. Booker the only Sun starter really having a terrible game.

Suns a lot less dangerous without multiple playmakers, need two of CP3, booker or payne for this teams offence to hum

Be interesting to see how Booker comes out for Q4 (resting on the bench apparently...)

Giannis definitely came out and proved the idiots who said him scoring 40+ was bad for the Bucks.

He’s an amazing talent and the best player on the court at anytime.

Scratch that, Bridges has completely disappeared tonight for the Suns after being stellar in Game 2.

POSTGAME THOUGHTS

The deciding factors, however, will be how the other guys play on both sides.

4 minutes in and Booker still hasn’t played this quarter. Down 22.

And with Booker struggling tonight, and Khris and Jrue playing well, the Bucks were able to secure the win.

Giannis will continue to play this well. It’ll be dependent on Jrue, Khris, and Giannis’ free throws.

Next game is going to be key.

CP3 with a beautiful stop and go crossover to a tough fade over Giannis to cut it to 19.

I think PHX will win and bring it to a gentleman’s sweep still. MIL will need to play even better than they did tonight to win Game 4, because PHX will be better.

I would’ve let me have the first five of the quarter and if they can’t cut it then let the game go.

He’s been the best Sun tonight too...

Monty is great, but I think it’s BS he isn’t even giving Book a shot to try to come back. Doesn’t even matter if he gets some clock at this point, still 20 with only 6:30 left.

I think the key really was how the Bucks pushed transition on every possession. Make, miss, it didn’t matter, they pushed it.

Yeah, I think that’s going to be the tough thing for the Bucks. They need historic performances from Giannis, Khris and Jrue to play well, AND someone else to perform well off the bench, PLUS an off night from Book (or CP3) to win.

Played phenomenal besides foul trouble.

Solid despite the FOSTER FACTOR.

I know +/- isn’t the end all be all, but I’d love to rewatch this game and focus on Bridges. How is he effecting the offense, what do the Bucks do differently when Bridges is off the floor.

Killer from three. Wasted a bit given the result.

Second poor performance for Book (Game 1 he was 1/8 from 3, but still put up some numbers).

It didn’t always lead to a shot, sometimes they’d pull it back, but they always made PHX rush back to defend and that constant pressure effected all aspects of the game.
