Question: if you go to Links on this page can you see that I linked to this space?

Maybe getting a notification there when others link to a public space is all that would really be required.

Wouldn’t you call the Links buttons at the bottom automatic backlinking?

Or perhaps, notifications themselves should be a space! With backlinks to the space the comments/activity took place

Something I often struggle with is, when I click on a notification, and if the space is large and busy, it can be challenging to find the specific card I was linking too

So, I’ve been imaging an idea like space layers! All spaces could have a public layer that can be toggled.

The one issue would probably be if you link to // add a comment from one space to another multiple times, you wouldn’t have a great way to see that second, third, etc. comment.

I see. So someone would find that by browsing other spaces the author has… that is interesting, but feels like too many steps for someone to find.

If so, having a number pop-up over Links as a notification, and an easier way to link to others’ public spaces would probably get most of what you are looking for, if I’m understanding the premise.

I think the idea would be to either include in your spaces (which I forget to more times than not) or be able to list a space in your bio vs a link or description.

Individual, but open space for people to come in and contribute.

This is basically a scheduled thing where a set group of people agree to all be on at the same time and work on something.
