* THE PURPOSE OF MAKING ART AS GAMES

Christopher Alexander makes buildings, and argues that ornamentation and function cannot be separated. He argues that the nature of a thing’s construction, and the outward effect of the thing itself in the world, are inexorably bound.

Why does art have some popular function? Is it for the purpose of transmission?

The form of a thing represents its function, and the art is the style, the content.
