Some possible things we could do to build awareness
[aside] supporting dev projects assigned to Pirijan

ppl saw kinopio demo-ed in toronto and the response was both ‘wow’ and ‘how have I not heard of it’. a few days later, lots of new customers

anecdotally, a tiny mention on swissmiss a couple of months ago was enough to double revenue for that month

There are plenty of new features I’d like to add – but the current core feature set is enough for this year. New users already surprised at all the things it does, and even I forget features

the thing kinopio needs most right now is awareness

a bit out of date, but might still be useful

making inspiring spaces and templates

brand moodboard is out of date and needs updating, but we can do that as we go

a place to start

user education
, showing and teaching what can be done

outreach to other community sites that might be really specific like about mindmapping or scrapbooking

write up posts for the blog and help site

Outreach to influencers in the areas of notetaking, productivity, second brain

user education
space guides/how-tos, user interviews

right now we use multiple aesthetics (old money, vintage cards, 80s computing, synthesizers, nature/gardening, y2k). I don’t think multiple aesthetics is a bad thing though so long as they all feel unified

suggestions for improving onboarding and new user welcome emails

youtube vids that teach ppl specific user flows (eg inbox)

refine help site design for a more ‘professional gear’ look

add support for other categories like guides

move the color visual emphasis to Categories (instead of per post colors)

weekly review emails redesigned to be more readable, present more compelling info, and use space preview images to be more visually engaging
