- I wanted to reach out and say hello. I'm Kurt. I hail from Pennsylvania, US. I found kinopio recently and am blown away really. I assume you're building this yourself, which is just really amazing.
My use case is what you described in your recent blog post. I code (mostly in an obscure language called pinescript, which is native to the tradingview.com platform) and
I tried everything to mind map and code diagram and it was just tedious, slow, and wasteful. This has been a godsend. I took a 2000 line script and I think I am on the way to cutting the total lines in half with the efficiencies I'm finding by mapping out the original.

- just wanted to say thanks for such a cool app. I was in a long hunt for apps to remake my PKMS and try to ditch Notion. everything is so businessy and clunky, I was giving up, but I'm happy I didn't and found Kinopio!! the character and mood are just RIGHT on my alley and that's what I want with software I use: opinionated and gimmicky, not bland and generic. it's the kind of app I actually feel good in paying because I know it will go to passionated devs and not massive corporations
I just really fell in love and I hope my journey with Kinopio will be long.

for planning - and it's still the BEST ! I've been using it for a year now for brainstorm ideas or organize thoughts but as a planning tool, it replaced every other tool i needed...so cool!

Using Kinopio is a joy, and I've barely gotten started. It's for being playful which I find is not possible in Notion. The behind the scenes journal posts, the pricing strategy, even the help center are super thoughtful. - Ethan Bodnar
- I discovered this app earlier this year and immediately became an upgraded member. I love how it allows me to quickly capture my thoughts and arrange cards spatially. Of course there are other tools that accomplish similar things, but the way Kinopio is executed and how it feels are truly game-changing. I've used it for so many things:
* Resumé/career journey
* Collaborative brainstorming sessions
* Retrospective meetings with my team
* Planning and outlining academic papers
* Weekly work planner
* Document my guitar effects chain

- I often use this to bring abstractions to a reality to then later find patterns in my thinking. It’s also a great tool to use for conversations. When you want to talk to someone about collective thoughts you have you can use it as reference or even brain storm with others real time.
Also this isn’t one of those things/tools/products that’s like feels like a fad. It actually helps. I remember once i had to do research to help find the best doctor for a serious medical condition and because of kinopio i was able to feel confident with my aggregated research to find which was the best doctor. True story, but only 1 of the many reasons why using kinopio can actually bring positive change to someone’s life :) - Yatu Espinosa
