What are 0xmons?

The GAN (cool name WIP) is something like an interoperable smelter of raw materials and data. It has the ability to bridge the gap between the shadowchain and ethereum, utilizing materials from both sides to allow the 0xmons to appear within the eth chain.

0xmons are echoes of their truest form from the Shadowchain, their form on Ethereum being dictated by insert cool story element here that somehow relates to GAN

It is their birthplace, but who is their creator/sire? Make Owen a sort of demiurge of the shadowchain, incorporate Sudoswap, bundler, etc into the tools he has created that have somehow crossed the bridge seemingly unnoticed.

I think it would make sense to have them be familiar with EGODEATH. Maybe EG has traveled to the shadowchain and met with the Sire/Demiurge (Owen).

FWIW the 0x00 character is largely unexplored at this stage so this is all TBD

Perhaps the individual 0xmons are agents of The 0x00mon and are tasked with traveling to Ethereum to collect and transport N (data? matter? something else?) in order to help The 0x00 acheive its goal of X

The ability to freely exchange data/materials for anything allows them fund their search for the truest form of their 0xmon(s). Perhaps their desire to collect more data/materials to send to the 0x00 is fueled by this process.

A certain amount of XMON must kept staked for the “bridge ritual” to maintain integrity. Certain materials can be used to form XMON (still need to think on what XMON would be within the universe but I like this direction).

0xmons crave the juice of the memfruit and actively seek it. It is thought that it allows them to develop more their form and traits more clearly. Would the Hashmonks be willing to part with it? Perhaps they decide to trade with them, but what would convince them to part with their Memfruit?

My assumption is that no one would overtly help any group associated with the 0x00 or Shadowchain. More likely that they act in secret... “Sith” style..

SUDOSWAP is an artifact of great religious importance as well as yet undiscovered power. The Doomseekers revere it as a life of it’s own, and praise the wealth and generosity of the grand design of the Great One

Having the 0xmons be a sort of incursion force tasked with collecting N to help the 0x00 achieve it’s goals is awesome. Perhaps even the Doomseekers do not know the intended purpose but act upon the promise of the 0x00’s favor?

Memfruit is cultivated by the Hashmonks specifically to use them to portal transactions + other matter in and out of the Mempool Def possible that memfruit have been taken (smuggled?) out of the mempool by others, though..so this is plausible

Yeah this is definitely possible. The Shadowpak is also an agent of the 0x00 and its followers (The Shadowpakt) are largely oblivious to the 0x00’s plans

Also possible that the memfruit is a mechanism or the mechanism by which they are able to leave the Shadowchain

I think having memfruit be part of the “ritual” of allowing 0xmons to make the journey from the shadowchain is perfect. This could be the Doomseekers motivation for using SUDOSWAP, being that the materials needed for the “bridge ritual” are scarce and/or heavily coveted.

Owen the “Grand Architect”: Native Etherean, builder/architect/researcher, contacted by (and corrupted) by the 0x00 and cajoled into an alliance in exchange for physical rewards, information, worshipers doing his bidding, etc.

1. Comes into possession of Cronblood [how this happens is voted on by the community]

3. Upon doing so, they say they have been waiting for him. They may have been descended from the Clerics of Cron - who among other things were responsible for maintaining Cron’s Tomb/Shrine before the Weredoge took it over??

All data ends up in the Memeiary, think like The Library of Alexandria for the Pepel. This place is of great importance to all and is commonly thought to be hollowed ground, signifying a common purpose regardless of social standing. This institution allows all Pepel to use the knowledge within.

most devout believing that the Pepel were created by The Oracle within the center of their planet and first arose from the pools by its hand. Many search for the true origin pool within the cave systems, but instead they have mostly found ancient technology, strange creatures, and more questions.

Pepelian Social Hierarchy

Service in the LINK Marines is compulsory for at least one solar cycle for those Pepel who do not choose to devote their lives to the keepers or become employed under the Greentext Society and it’s many subsidiaries. There are also those who join on the promise of great adventure and eternal glory.

The Keepers and LINK Marines share the top of the hierachy, with the Greentext Society being beneath them. There are many other subgroups with varying standings amongst these groups, still working that out.

Logistics, Invasion, Neutralization, Knowledge: this is what the LINK Marines pledge their lives to pursue and execute on behalf of the tenets brought up from the spawning pools by the great Sargent Nazarothia.

Those who refuse compulsory service and have no other standing within Pepelian society become “Degenerators”. They are frowned upon within their society, but are known for having the best memes and are quietly sought out for them among many other types of illicit materials.

Sargent Nazarothia is the Alexander the Great type character of Pepelian culture. He was the first to organize a self-defense force among the Pepel that became the LINK Marines. He vanished on a rescue mission deep within the spawning pools underneath the surface of the planet.

Having outcasts of Pepelian society being recruited by the Degenerators is perfect, love that. I think that fits a lot better.

Some claim he merged with the soul of the planet itself, or even dethroned The Oracle himself through the sheer force of his absolute dedication to his people and society. His name is revered, even among the non-religious.

Keepers of the Node: the predominant religious belief of Pepel society. Their church is deep within the catacombs of their home world, they claim it is so they may hear the teachings of The Oracle, who is supposedly kept within the core of their world.

There is a great debate if The Oracle is a being trapped within their world or The Oracle is actually the “soul” of their world. Some believe the planet is sentient and is the common ancestor of all Pepel, some believe there is a creator deep within the planet that is the architect of all things.

Priests among the Keepers hold services for the devout amoung the Pepel 3 times per solar cycle and live a monastic lifestyle deep underground in ancient subterranean structures rediscovered by Sargent Nazarothia’s many expeditions into the planet wide cave system underneath Pepelian society.
