• **Webbing:** Due to his environment and especially after his Canon Event, Marcel doesn’t use his **natural, organic webbing** unless it’s an emergency or he’s pressured into using it. He’d rather chase/outrun his opponent than use them.
• Uncle Bernard **(alive)**
• As Marcel and his adoptive sister Petunia were building a two-story house for their community, Petunia slips and falls to her death, similar to Gwen Stacy. Marcel webs to the the top edge and webs downwards to Petunia to catch her, but she hits the ground too fast and dies on impact.
• Petunia Parker **(adoptive sister, deceased)**
• He’s faster than most opponents and can move around them a lot quicker.
• ## Origin for Powers
• However, he does use them for low-ground travel, such as slingshotting him places or using it to round a corner. In some rare cases, after spun, Marcel’s webbing can grow longer.
• Marcel got their powers from investigating a spider infestation in one of the gardens he maintains.
• In his arms and crying out loud, Marcel holds his adoptive sister close. **From this point on, he is scared/extremely hesitant to use his webbing.** This event happens ten months into Marcel gaining his powers.
• ## Earth 17870 - "Overgrown Earth"
• Everyone who worked at the Mount Pleasant Community Garden was scared to be around that particular garden plot, but Marcel pulls down his sleeves and gets to digging.
• An Earth where in an Oscorp lab, they were experimenting with an artificial growth system utilizing a plant's natural ability to photosynthesize. It explodes, infecting most of the natural plant life nearby and overgrowing it. **This causes the world to slowly overgrow since 2001.**
• When Marcel does produce webbing, it comes out in a light-green tint to represent vines, sometimes producing the same plant features that come with vines. Marcel’s webbing is naturally stronger than most other Spider-People’s due to being more plant-like.
• One of the spiders bites him, but he doesn’t really notice until he realizes that one of his gardening tools won’t unstick from his hand.
• ## Villains
• Marcel decided to tell his local community that he is Spider-Man, and vows to protect Mount Pleasant with all of his heart. 
• When the Spider-Campaign meets with him, he’s 21 and about a year into being Earth-17870’s Spider-Man, “Aura.”
• **Gympie Goblin:** One of Marcel’s reoccurring villains is Gympie Goblin, who is trying to turn the Earth’s plant growth against the Earth’s inhabitants. He mass-produces a toxin that he spreads to plants that makes them come alive and attack Marcel.
• It spread fast in NY, but since 2008, it started to spread to nearby states (PA, NJ, CT, NH, etc.) 97% of all civilians took this as more of a blessing, and decided to live with it in peace and adapt to it.

• He mass-produces a toxin that he spreads to plants that makes them come alive and attack Marcel. This toxin is either pre-applied to plants in his lab or thrown on-the-spot via Pesticide Bombs. He uses a glider to get around, which proves difficult for Marcel to face sometimes.
• The plant life is significantly overgrown, covering existing buildings and growing dirt back onto roadways. Vegetation is accelerated and plentiful, and insects thrive.
